Peter und Luise Hager-Award at the Saar Academy of Fine Arts and Design (HBKsaar)
Together with Saar Academy of Fine Arts and Design (HBKsaar) the Peter und Luise Hager Foundation has been awarding prizes to outstanding students of the HBKsaar for their artistic and design projects and developments since 2011.
Each year, the call for entries specifies a theme to be addressed artistically or creatively. The prizes are intended to promote the individual development of the students in the long term. In addition, the awarding of prizes is intended to address a broad public for the aesthetic development potential of the Saar region.
The theme of the winter semester 2023/24 was: "obsessive". At the end of the winter semester 2023/24, the ten best works were shown as part of the tour in the HBKsaar gallery. The award ceremony took place in the context of the opening of the tour at the end of the winter semester.
The decision on the awarding of the prize was made by a jury consisting of
three representatives of the Peter und Luise Hager Foundation, three representatives of the HBKsaar and two external experts.
