Ideas competition of the KIT-Gründerschmiede
Getting students at the KIT excited about the topic of founding
The KIT-Gründerschmiede has been organising the ideas competition since 2022. Since 2023 the Gründerschmiede and the Peter und Luise Hager Foundation have joined forces. Dr Peter Langer, Engineering Manager at Berker (Hager Group) in Karlsruhe, supports us with his expertise.
The idea competition is open to all students of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. You do not need any previous start-up experience, nor do you have to be on the verge of founding a company or have a name for your project or team. An idea that has the potential for a start-up is sufficient.
The Gründerschmiede helps the students with advice, support, their network and great events. The Peter und Luise Hager Foundation awards cash prizes up to 500 euros. At the closing event on November 4th, 2023, the winners were announced in a festive ceremony.
