The Peter und Luise Hager Foundation has been supporting the "Deutschlandstipendium" scholarship programme of the StudienStiftungSaar since 2017. Our cooperation began with the support of two htw saar students per semester. Since 2022, we have expanded our support to six scholarships at four universities in Saarland: Saar University of Fine Arts, Saar University of Music, Saarland University of Applied Sciences and Saarland University. 

The Deutschlandstipendium is the largest public-private scholarship programme in Germany and supports young talent at state and state-recognised universities. Students of all faculties receive 300 euros per month regardless of income. The special feature: 150 euros are contributed by private sponsors such as companies, foundations and private individuals. The other half is contributed by the Federal Government. Germany Scholarship holders are among the best in their field, are involved in voluntary work or have fought their way into higher education. Almost 30,500 students received a Germany Scholarship in 2022.
