HfM Saar Summer School
Promotion of young talents from all over Europe
Since 2016, the HfM University of Music Saar organizes a yearly Summer School with the support of the Peter und Luise Hager Foundation.
During this time the participants work under professional conditions in an ensemble and individual lessons on complex compositions, which will be performed together at the end of the academies. The focus of all academies is on intensive, practical cooperation with experienced professionals. Talented youngsters from Germany and other European countries are invited to apply for the academies.
After its first edition in 2016 and the following academies in 2017 and 2018, the fourth HfM Saar Summer School took place in September 2019. The innovative concept of the HfM University of Music Saar puts a strong emphasis on the promotion of talented young musicians.
From 2nd to 7th September 2019 three academies took place simultaneously:
CHOIR ACADEMY (Artistic director: Georg Grün)
CONDUCTOR’S ACADEMY (Artistic director: Georg Grün)
TROMBONE ACADEMY (Artistic director: Michael Zühl)
